There’s a growing desire for new ways of learning about sustainability—approaches that move away from fast-paced urban life and foster meaningful connections and community. What better way to explore Sustainability and Biomimicry than in Nature itself? In collaboration with Monnou and Imita Natura, we created BIO LAB: a unique educational and cultural experience rooted in the natural world, where Biomimicry and Bioinspired Design come to life.

Designing the full experience
Just like digital experiences, educational and cultural ones are also designed. Through Service Design methodologies, we brought the first edition of BIO LAB to life and have continued evolving the concept ever since. The process included interviews with potential participants, field visits to explore suitable locations, and early testing of the workshops to refine them. We also involved key stakeholders—collaborating businesses and organizations—throughout the design process to co-create a meaningful and impactful experience.
